Bachata Fundamentals with Carina Palomino / Monday & Thursday (5-6pm)

For Carina, dance is more than movement; it’s an exploration of self, a journey that unveils layers of connection, expression, and embodiment. During the challenging times of COVID, the absence of social dance in her life revealed its profound impact. Hesitantly, Carina joined a bachata performing team and quickly became obsessed with training. She has actively trained through grow classes and private lessons in both bachata and salsa; and completed her instructor training under RNA Dance Company in 2022-2023 and has been teaching 6+ hours/weekly since June 2023. Carina launched her bachata school, Metta Dance Collective at the beginning of 2024 – Metta aims to unite through dance, creating an inclusive space where individuals grow physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
